A while ago I posted asking about the nursing program application process at Tri-C. I just wanted to update that I received acceptance into the Spring 2010 semester . The process was actually pretty fast. I am very excited. Hope to hear from others that will also start at Tri-C in the Spring.
NewStart2010:yeah:
So, I'm still waiting for the application from Tri-c. A2 was so easy couldn't believe it. I'm assuming the application should come anytime now. Now, I'm planning on working 3rd shift, but not sure about exact hour so I'm little hesitant about Day or Evening program. Do you know how late the Evening programs are held till? Do you get lot of choices for Day program?
You can look at the master schedule for Spring 2012 to see when nursing courses are offered. Evenings and weekend clinicals can run until midnight though. You pretty much get locked into a class once you pick you campus and program.
Is there only one lecture for each Day and Evening program for 1300? I'm assuming cap-56 is the lecture and cap-14 is the lab. 8am will be tough after all night of work.
You take 1300 and 1450 first semester.
Yep 1300 only has one 50 minute lecture per week and one 2 hour lab per week. 1450 Has two 1 hour 50 minute lectures, one 2 hour lab, and two 6 hour 30 minute clinicals per week. I'm not sure how the evening weekend program is but with days you are in class for 4 out of the 7 days each week. It's rough by itself and even rougher trying to juggle work with school and anything else you might have going on.
hello guys!
(newbie here) Anyway this is directed to DeniseAshley or anyone else with info. I was wondering when is the date for the nursing orientation for spring 2012? Tri-c informed that email woud be sent in late september, yet no email received. All information is appreciated. Thx!!!:)

I'm set for the Spring 2012 program at Eastern Campus, and received the orientation email around september 23rd. It gave a list of tasks to complete before orientation, and future immunizations, supplies, etc. to acquire before the spring semester even begins. However, our orientation is set for Oct. 27th at 1:30. If you didn't receive an email, I would contact the nursing board asap and explain your situation.
