I've found Navapache Regional in Show Low (been there twice) and the hospital in Flagstaff to both be traveler friendly hospitals.

Flagstaff medical center has travelers. They need all year around but more so in the winter(being at 6,000-7,000ft)not as many want the winter weather. Many Phoenix area Rn's come up in the summer to get away from the heat. Check out the hospitals oun "seasonal" program. The site lists the pay and benifits. Look under available positions all seasonal positions have the same $/benifits. Be sure to take the studio offered not the money for housing. $800 doesn't get much here. I'm in a seasonal position now, it's been good. Tele RN 4 to 1 ratio. Some traverlers say the seasonal pays better than their agencys. Good luck....

Are you looking for a hospital IN Phx? If so, then check out St. Joes, Maricopa Medical Center, Banner Good Sam ...... those are all huge hospitals in Phx and have a great need for travelers.

I have a friend who lives in Surprise and am hopefully heading that way soon as a traveller. What months is the season in full swing there? and when do they need the travellers the most? I'm in Florida and a couple months ago we actually cancelled some travellers contracts due to the low census'!
Seeing as your specialities are trauma, ER, and ICU .... I don't think you'd have a problem finding a job with high census year round!
For the most part our busy time on the adult/peds floors is the winter due to all the snowbirds and cooler weather and L&D/NICU are busy during the summer. But there are big hospitals in Phx that have busy ERs year round and are always looking for travelers.
