Good dialysis travel companies

Thinking about doing travel nursing, clinic setting -not acute. Need suggestions for good companies to work for

I am about to take my first Dialysis travel position. I have talked to lots of travlers and called lots of companies. Foundation Medical Staffing is a company I trust and many others do as well. They linked me with a permanent position in the past and they do what they say they will. Many other travel companies give a dishonest vibe. People like Fortus. I decided not to go with fortus since they mostly have chronic assignment and i needed acute. Fresenius and Fortus are known for paying travelers well from what I have heard from other travlers.

Thanku! Fortus doesn't have anything in Alabama but I am now talking with Foundation. We will see

I work with Foundations and am very happy

I am a Dialysis Technician. I will be traveling with Fresenius. I am just waiting for the recruiter to get back to me (possibly tomorrow) regarding contract and etc...

I did check out "nursesrx". But just as you said BLARN, Fresenius's pay is so much better. Fresenius doesn't add up the wages, allowance and stipends all in one lump sum --and finagle it in a way to make it look good. Basically the $26 an hour offered actually comes out to $12 or $13 an hour wage. Um -- yeah. In a nutshell. Well, Fresenius doesn't do that. Your $26 wage is what you get, separate from your hefty stipends. Looks like I choose Fresenius!!!

Just wondering, have you found a good agency?

Any luck?

Check out AHSRenalstat. They usually have positions opening up in most states. Have worked for them for several contracts, and they never messed up my paycheck!

Hi,

I have worked as a travel nurse in chronic dialysis for 2+ years. I started with Foundation (2 assignments) and tried Quik Travel (7 assignments). I am now thinking about giving Renal Reserve a try. Really would like to find a place where they genuinely care about you as a person or at least know enough to fake it. I have spoken with AHS Renalstat and know nurses who have worked with them. I was not overly impressed, but I may give them a try.

I have traveled, extensively , mostly chronic, but also acute dialysis. And the two best agencies I have worked for are Foundation Medical Staffing and Quik Travel Staffing. I recommend Margaret Lavender and Mae Reyes, respectively.

AHS RenalStat seems to have a few more jobs listed at the moment, but they seem to low ball on money every time.

FMS & QTS will negotiate and ultimately give you better pay packages especially in California.
