Hello! I am about to take my first travel assignment with AmericanMobile and before I sign everything and officially start I Googled the company (don’t know why I didn’t earlier?) and saw that they had horrible ratings. I’m wondering if anyone on here has ever used them before? Any advice? mom sort of in a bind because they are the only company that has a job in the city I need to work in (I’m in Alabama, ain’t no one wants to travel here lol)
anyways, any advice would be awesome. Thanks!

Hi Leslie,
I did travel with a company back in 2011 and it was pretty good. I can't remember the name at this moment. But I would say address your concerns to them specifically and see what their response is. If it's customer service/getting paid on time/ or whatever, give them the chance to see what their side is. Speak to someone in leadership that can assure you. Get some things in writing in your contract.

So American Mobile is not the evil empire they are often accused of being. They are just a really large agency. The numbers of online detractors is simply a reflection of how many travelers have worked for an agency. Every single agency has fans and detractors but the larger the agency, the louder the noise.
As a disclaimer, I have never worked with them but I think I have figured out how social media works!
