Hello all! I am wondering if anyone has ever worked for Readylink? Also, I looked over past forums, and can't find mention of any names of companies to go with or avoid. Would love if everyone chipped in what good and bad companies they have delt with:) TY

I am with NovaPro.

Though they are owned by Cross Country, they work like a smaller agency to find you top dollar and at the same time give you day one insurance, all utilities paid including deluxe private housing with a housewares package so all you need are your clothes.

My Recruiter has given me excellent service and is a very nice, patient guy. He NEVER rushed you off the phone and will give you the real scoop on things.

I've worked for CrossCountry TravCorps (they merged some years ago) for seven years now. They treat me well, have decent benefits, lots of contracts in a lot of locations and have handled any issues that arose for me to my satisfaction. I can't say they are right for everyone, as needs differ, but I have no current plans to look at any other company.

CCTV seems to have a lot of assignments, but on their website it states "shared housing"..is this the case or can you negotiate for private? Also, who is your recruiter? I just filled out their online app but haven't spoken to anyone yet. (I like that they have assignments in Hawaii, USVI, and California, all places I want ot go!:) )

Thanks for your help!

CCTC does have a lot of assignments. The shared housing is an issue, although more assignments are coming up with private housing as a benefit. I never shared housing though. My first couple of assignments were in small town hospitals where I was the only traveler, then I opted to pay the differential to get a private apt. They prorate the amount you pay toward private housing during the first 2 yrs, then it's free - a longevity incentive.

Feel free to e-mail me for more specifics. My recruiter is no longer a recruiter (promoted) but continues to handle my assignments because of our long association. I'll be glad to give you contact people, but don't want to post her name here as she is no longer primarily a recruiter.

BagladyRN...I e-mailed you... :)

I work for Starmed. To me they are great. I have also worked for Medstaff Inc., which was a big mistake. Starmed has great houseing or housing stipends to accept, insurance, meal allowance, milage reimb. and a ton of other great benefits. I just signed and started a contract at Duke University Hospital In North Carolina and it had a generous sign on bonus and resign bonus if you sign in a certain amt of time and it doesn't have to be w/the same place you were. Just thought I would let you know.

Great people and an awesome, caring recruiter, and my bud:D!!! I highly reccomend them:D! I have never worked for them, nor do I recruit for them, but thanks to her I didn't take a contract, that I would have regretted!!!

She constantly checks on me, to see how I'm doing and I haven't even filled out an app! She has invited me to her home for Thanksgiving while away from family, and extended the invite to my daughter! I just LOVE HER!

Hello

I currently work for the Buffalo office of Supplemental Health Care. I have had no problems with having my check direct deposited, my bonus checks or housing and meal allowance. I respect the fact that everyone has had their own experiences but my experience has been very positive.

To my understanding Supplemental has medical travel positions as well as Psychiatric. I am currently on a psychiatric travel position in NC. I have resigned now for over a year and have not had one problem with Supplemental.

Good Luck!

I've been with Vita Medical Staffing for almost 3 years now. They have been great to me and they have free private housing.

I liked CCTV, but again, they need to offer private housing!!! They wouldn't excect docs to have roomates. Why should we?
