So, I finally just bit the bullet and took my 1st exam...Health Safety and I passed with a "B"! Whooo Hooo! It took me a couple of minutes to calm my nerves...felt just like the day I took my LPN boards! I am ready to start Chronicity but EC says that I cannot get the study guide until I enroll, which probably won't be until another paycheck or so. I have all my transcripts and licenses in, so I just need to pay the fee.
Is there anywhere online that I can get the study guide info? I have StudyGroup101 notes and the books to get started, so I would like to study these next couple weeks while I save up the money so that I can enroll and then test soon thereafter.
Thanks in advance for all your help! I enjoy lurking around here...you are ALL such motivation to me!!!

Congratulations! I took my (hopefully) last exam today - NCLEX-RN.
A test at a time.
I don't have the guide. I was under the old curriculum and, well, I had a celebratory burning in the fire pit after each one.

Congratulations. The next exam will be easier on you. If you are talking about the course outline for the exam, you can find that on the EC website in the publications page area. You have to be logged in to your EC account and you can download each of the study outlines for free by clicking on the icon for each exam. If you are talking about notes for the exams, you can find various notes offered on ebay under excelsior college. StudyGroup101 and Lisa Arends comes to mind. You can also buy TCN, Chancellors, and Rue study guides as they become available. HTH
Yes, I was talking about the course outline...but EC told me today that I have to be enrolled to the college before I can access any other course outline guides after the 1st exam.
Congrats "Suesquatch" on getting this far! You guys are AMAZING!
I hear ya...I just want to be done with all of this. My work is laying off employees and I am afraid that LPNs will be the next to go since all of the hospitals in the area have done away with them. My goal is to dig in, get this done and then probably celebrate with a large bonfire as well! For now...1 test at a time!

Jennifer,
Look at EC website for installment payments for exams. You could, for example, register for 2 at a time and make the payments over a few months. I did this for the last 3 exams. You can't take the exam until it is all paid for but you can download the free guides and register for the practice exams. When the 3 tests were paid off, I took all 3 exams within a 2 week period. Worked for me because I knew that there would always be more demands on my income and school would fall to the bottom of the list.
As for you SUE, congratulations on NCLEX!!!!!!!
