I took the NCLEX pn yesterday. Majority of my questions were SATA. No dosage calc. I felt like I knew nothing. I walked out feeling horrible and cried the whole drive home. I did so well in school and on all of my exams. I was using board vitals to study for NCLEX and my average was 80%. But with so many SATA questions, I lost all confidence, they all felt so hard.

Relax. It would be extremely rare for a graduate that did well in school and fail NCLEX. NCLEX is a Computer Adaptive Test. It is designed to give you questions at the limit of YOUR knowledge, which means it is designed to get you to answer incorrectly to see what your limit is. That is completely different than standard tests that everyone has the exact same 100 questions and you are graded on the number you answer correctly. When I took NCLEX, the first 75 questions contained 15 beta questions and 60 real test questions. I could miss all 15 of the beta questions (don't count) and 30/60 of the real test questions (alternating each question correct and incorrect) and pass NCLEX at 75 questions (40% answered correctly). 40% on a normal test is a failure.
