Took the NCLEX today...ended at 75 questions

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi, I took the NCLEX this morning and it shut off at 75 questions. I found the questions to be very difficult. Lots of priority questions, a few delegation, a bunch of psych, a few OB, a bunch of pick all that apply. I don't feel like I failed, yet it doesn't feel like I passed, if that makes any sense. I seemed to get down to 2 answers and had a hard time picking one. Two others from my class also shut off at 75 questions. I guess I'll know for sure in 2 days! :o

keep us posted... :)

I just took it on the 27th and it shut off at 75. I thought the world had ended and wasn't sure at all I had passed. I did though and I know you will too! :)

How did you do?

I'm still waiting...I should be able to get my results by noontime from Pearson Vue. Boy, it's harder to wait than I thought it would be!! (and I only have to wait 48 hrs!) I'll post later when I get my results! :o

I took mine on Monday. It also ended at 75 questions, and like you, I thought it was quite difficult. My format was much the same as yours - several "pick all that apply", lots of psych, delegation and prioritization. I didn't think I failed, but I didn't have any real confidence that I passed either, especially since I thought it was REALLY hard to choose many of the answers.

But the good news is, I found out from PeasonVue online last night that I passed! I am SO glad that is over and done, and I am finally an RN. Try to hang in there (although I understand how hard that is). You most likely did pass with flying colors.

congratulations susan! :balloons: :balloons: that's exactly how i feel...not exactly like i failed, yet not like i passed. the priority questions were so much more complex that i was taken aback. i would think though, that if i failed in 75 questions that the questions would have been easier??? holy cow...4 more hours to wait! good luck to you in the profession!
