Took Nclex-Rn yesterday..shut off at 84..

Published

Hello everyone

I took my nclex RN exam yesterday and it cut off at 84 ..

I had 10 sata,Only 1 calculation and 5-7 med questions lot of med surg,priority questions,1 or 2 delegation, 2 ecg ,1 picture question..

I have been browsing this site to find anybody who got 84 questions and passed..feeling really down:cry:

It was my retake I've failed it once and last time my test shut off at 75 so that means I failed miserably..This time when MY TEST didn't stop at 75 and I got #76 I was like Okay may be I am not doing that bad I still have a chance I got myself together and pay extra attention to the questions and I hit 80 then 81..82..83..and it stopped at 84 I was like please give me few more..:/ so I just got 9 more questions from minimum 75 ...I know its silly to talk about number of questions but I can't stop thinking about it .What are my chances here..any Ideas..? If I FAILED WAS I CLOSE TO PASSING ?or CAN i pass with only 9 more questions ?

P.s I haven't tried PVT trick yet coz I am not in a good situation to handle that cc page shot I have no courage to do it I am preparing myself for the worse...:uhoh3:

You passed. The priority and delegation questions are "level 4" questions ie the hard ones. Had you failed, the algorithm would have been giving you level 1 questions.Congrats!

Try the PVT and trust in it.

"Our records indicate you recently scheduled the exam..."=good pop up that won't change no matter how many days pass by

(this msg gives me goosebumps every time I remember doing PVT,lol)

:) good luck and have us updated..

Ok so now I'm going to be focused on the type of questions I get when I take the exam and freak out even more if I don't get a million SATA or priority/delegation LOL Ugh!

Thankfully, those were always my weak spot in school and with studying for the NCLEX, so I sat and did all SATA questions one day.... helped a TON!

The fact that you went to 84 doesn't mean you failed. My classmates ranged all over the place from 75-265 and almost all passed. There's no way to correlate how many questions you got with whether you passed or failed.

Do the PVT, and best of luck!
