Took Nclex-Rn yesterday..shut off at 84..

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello everyone

I took my nclex RN exam yesterday and it cut off at 84 ..

I had 10 sata,Only 1 calculation and 5-7 med questions lot of med surg,priority questions,1 or 2 delegation, 2 ecg ,1 picture question..

I have been browsing this site to find anybody who got 84 questions and passed..feeling really down:cry:

It was my retake I've failed it once and last time my test shut off at 75 so that means I failed miserably..This time when MY TEST didn't stop at 75 and I got #76 I was like Okay may be I am not doing that bad I still have a chance I got myself together and pay extra attention to the questions and I hit 80 then 81..82..83..and it stopped at 84 I was like please give me few more..:/ so I just got 9 more questions from minimum 75 ...I know its silly to talk about number of questions but I can't stop thinking about it .What are my chances here..any Ideas..? If I FAILED WAS I CLOSE TO PASSING ?or CAN i pass with only 9 more questions ?

P.s I haven't tried PVT trick yet coz I am not in a good situation to handle that cc page shot I have no courage to do it I am preparing myself for the worse...:uhoh3:

Hi Guy

any advice preparing to take the Nclex 1st time i need all the resourse to help me pass my 1st time.

Thanks

I suggest just taking your time especially with the first 75 questions. After doing a zillion question trainers I knew that I would become fatigued and wind up becoming more careless the more questions I got. I took my time and made sure to try and read each question over until I understood what it was asking and then i evaluated all of my answer choices over and over. It literally took me about 2.5 hours to do the 75 questions, but my computer shut off and I passed at 75. It was a risky choice because with half my time gone there was no way I could have ever completed the entire exam, but luckily I guess I did well enough on those first 75 that I didn't even have to worry about that. :bowingpur Best of luck. If you get overwhelmed take a moment to breath. I actually wrote a positive affirmation on my white board that I would look at and tell myself when I felt my anxiety creeping up. All you can do is your best

Hi, I was reading the posts what is a level 1 question

I agree, I jus took my this afternoon and the did the pvt test an looks like my card declined because it's insufficient funds. Sadly if the funds was available it would have debited the funds. Computer shut off at 81 questions cried so hard cuz the last time it shut off at 206. I am frustrated ,nervous , scared, and everything else under the weather
