I just finished taking NCLEX and feel like a failure...I feel like I got easy questions like medication administration, I Know I got them wrong because I blanked out!!! ...I only got 75 questions...I cried on the way home..I got some SATA and a bunch of infection control and some patient teaching...Any advice would be helpful...thanks...Did anyone get easy questions and pass?

Just wanted you all to know I only had 76 questions and I FAILED. My test consisted of Meds(of course that I never heard of ) about 40?s I can honestly say I dont think I got one answer right. I admit i am a poor test taker, but I took Kaplan review did the question trainer and q bank (scoring anywhere from 55-72%. I live in PA does anyone know what i need to do to retake them! I know there is a 45 day waiting pd. But i didnt know where to go from here. I am not trying to scare anyone, but I thought wow only 76 ? i must have passed. FAILING does happen there is no magic number. I heard the book exam cram is great, it has a practice test then a another test that is very similar to the NCLEX. My friend states its not overwhelming. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!
I had a friend just recently passed as a matter of fact two friends that just recently passed, both with 75q. One said she knew absolutely nothing and was positive she failed. However, she said she felt the questions were fairly simple but she still could not answer them with confidence. She said she felt she was in the lower level questions the entire time but yet she passed. My other friend said (who also took 75q) everything on the test looked familiar to her and that it almost seemed to easy for her to have passed. She too felt she was in the easy level questions. I myself took the exam before the both of them but did not pass. I also thought my test was not that bad but i did not get the results i wanted. But i doubted myself the entire time coming up to my test. I pretty much talked myself into failure. Anyway my point is just think positive and yes you could have still passed even though you felt like you got a lot of easy questions, just think about it maybe you were more prepared than you thought. Good Luck!!! I really hope you get the result you want:saint:
I had the exact problem as you may have read. I thought the test was easy and I actually passed!!! Dont worry, you just knew your stuff :) good LUCK!!
I feel the same, very similar situation with me I took the test today 10 am, only 75, I felt the test was that hard, some of the questions I was very familiar with, I knew the answer 100%. I answer wrong the 3 math question which I got 5-6, my mistake I was over confident that I didn't practice that part too much, . I am in Calif, this waiting time is driving CRAZY:uhoh3:.
OMG!!! i've been waiting for almost 4 days here in California! i've been such a miserable wreck for the last couple of days moping around and crying.......i've tried to keep my mind off the test by just watching episodes of LOST! =) but i can honestly say that i passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :nuke::D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D i'm sooooo happy! i've been praying to god every day for to give me strength and support to get me through these days!!!
I did take KAPLAN! i took the whole deal...........i went to classes every other day for 3 weeks......i wouldn't be able to get the information they were telling me in just a couple of days so i took the 3 week deal..........my diagnostic test score was 56%......that was before i studied anything.......then after taking kaplan and little studying.....i got 66%.........i was doing horrible on the q banks with scores in the 50's and 60's.....occasionally i would get some 70's and 80's............but overall in the 50's and 60's.............. for the question trainers....i did horribly on the first 4.....but on question trainer 5, 6, and 7 i got about 65%, 65%, and 63% ...........i really thought i failed this test since i felt the questions i was getting were way too easy....they seemed like basic content i should know.....but wasn't even too sure about during the test..........i seriously thought that kaplan's q bank and question trainers were way harder!!!!!!!! ............
i just want to leave a message: DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE.......KEEP PRAYING, STAY POSITIVE, AND DEFINITELY HAVE FAITH IN YOUR ABILITIES! its ironic.......but i felt that i had none for the last few days..........but i kept telling myself...........stay positive.......believe in yourself.................you can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you everyone for your support and encouragement! but i can finally say that i'm a REGISTERED NURSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just can not predict. Try to relax whilst waiting for results. Good luck
