You most likely passed. Congrats taking your test, now is the killing time where you have to wait for your results. I'm here in cali and took the test feb 4 and still waiting for the results. Majority of people that stop at 85 questions pass. There are a couple who do fail, but most likely you are fine. As long as you studied as much as possible and depending on how you feel about the test, then it should sum it up for you. You should look around the lvn forum and you will see that alot of people that stop at 85 questions do pass. I stopped at 85 questions also, and I just pray that I pass. Don't worry. Your ok...just be patient.

I also took the test on the 15th and I stopped at 85 and PASSED! I am sure you did fine. I know what you mean about the nerves though. I was shaking so bad the lady had to shut my cell phone off for me. then it took me about two minutes to open the locker because i couldnt' get the key in..then when i left I went straight to the mall to try to calm down and here I left the keys in the car running the whole 2 hours I was shopping! Hopefully you will get your results soon so you can get to relax! I finially had a good nights rest last night with out having dreams of that test.
where are you from and how long do you have to wait for your results?

Waiting is the worse. Most people pass the exam the first time around, if that is any comfort to you. I just hope you don't live on one of those areas where you have to wait at least a month for your results. Good luck!

Most people pass on 85 questions. I had 85 and passed and my instructor told me she has never had a student fail at 85 questions. I bet you passed!

I got 85 questions.
Honestly I thought I failed because the to me the test was easy. However, I passed! And yes, my classmate was suprise when I said the test was easy for me! Maybe I was lucky knowing the materials of the questions!
Anyway, hopefully you passed! Please let us know how it goes!

I've been reading just about every post about NCLEX tests that stop at 85 and let me tell just say you seem to be in a better position than if the exam went longer. I to am also waiting, I tested in Cali on 1-22 and the wait is HORRID!!! You begin to read things that you probably shouldn't be reading, and you talk to people and they comment on things they really have no business commenting on, and with all your conflicting thoughts on how you feel the exam went, you begin to doubt yourself ( just speaking from experience). I have realized that reading all of the posts that I could find on recent NCLEX testers was not the best idea, but while we are waiting for our results they become a much needed "drug" and I can't get enough, even when they cause more doubt and second guessing. I wish you the best of luck with your results and the wait!!! Cali~mom

I am in the same boat as you right now. I just took the NCLEX-PN this afternoon, 85 questions. The test was nothing like I anticipated, I felt so under prepared!!!!
I was given some really random questions which completely caught me off guard!!
I also had A LOT of difficult priority questions. I try not to read into the questions, but some of these seemed like they were lacking some major info which would make it a little easier to answer (I guess thats the point huh??) Anyway, a part of me feels like I did alright... but the other part feels that this test did not justify the 1 1/2 yrs of school I just went through to get here! I'm so scared of failing this test!! I don't know if I can make it through the next 4 weeks! I didn't take any classes this semester so I would have sufficient time to study...so I better find something to effectively distract me until I find out the results. I'm also wondering if I should just keep reviewing, in case I do fail...so that I will definitely be prepared for round 2! :typing
Good Luck to you Ingie, I'm sure you did great, It sucks that Cali doesn't have quick results. I 've been thinking about hitting the books also, but I haven't because I don't want to jinx myself..... I hope my letter is in the mail tomorrow with that beautiful word PASS!!!
