im so new to this whole site, but must say the support here is amazine and i could really use some right about now. i took my nclex on the 15 of feb and my computer shut off at 85 questions. i tried to remain calm but by question 20, i started panicing. so far all the questions that i remembered i got right but those could be the real easy questions right?? what is the percentage of people passing with 85 questions??

my computer shut off at 85 as well. i remember sitting in my car a little over an hour later thinking, "oh cr@p.". for two days i couldn't sleep or eat. i was so convinced that i failed that i continued to study. thankfully up here we get the quick results so i found out soon enough that i had passed.i'm still amazed i did because if you were to ask me if i knew what i was answering, i'd tell you NO. NO CLUE. NONE WHATSOEVER. i panicked as well and just went blank after the exam. the waiting part is the hardest part but hang in there! there were a bunch of girls in my class who went up to 85 as well and passed. just keep reviewing to keep yourself busy but take care of yourself too. YOU DESERVE IT. keep us updated!

I took my state boards on the 13th and I also shut down at 85. I thought the questions were easy. I thought there is no way I passed

On the morning of the 15th ( my wedding anniversary) I saw my PN number online and almost fainted My nurse manager was sitting there

I called her over and said something like "Im offically a nurse". She saw it and then congrats from every nurse on the floor. It was the most wonderful thing in the world I am still in shock. You will pass too! Those clinicals were the hardest thing I ever did but thats a story for another day LOL. Good Luck

Hey...I also took the NCLEX on the 15th and also stopped at 85 questions and I'm also from CALI....urghhh I can't stand the wait! After reading everyone's posts, I feel a little better but every now and then I get this feeling that I didn't pass because the test was SO HARD!!!

Good Luck to you Ingie, I'm sure you did great, It sucks that Cali doesn't have quick results. I 've been thinking about hitting the books also, but I haven't because I don't want to jinx myself..... I hope my letter is in the mail tomorrow with that beautiful word PASS!!!

Hi Cali~Mom,

A friend of my wife took NCLEX on 22nd here in CA. Will keep you informed if he gets his result.

My wife took it on Feb 7th. Another friend took on Feb 6th.

The wait is so bad here in CA....

We will all be waiting to hear :) I only had to wait 2 days and it was hard. I was out to lunch with my best friend and my sister called me and said the computer said my results were ready. I let her check and she told me over the phone that I passed. I am sure all the people in the restaurant thought we were nuts as my best friend and I were jumping up and down in excitement. I was so scared I failed. Whats ironic is I had 85 questions and my sister had 205 questions and we both passed. Hang in there future nurses.

Good luck. At least your results are almost ready. I just took mine yesterday and keep thinking about the different questions I had to deal with. I was a "A" student at school but the exam was very hard for me. Shut off at 85. I'm soooooo nervous and keep thinking I failed. I live in Cali and have to wait for at least 4wks.

I just took my nclex-pn today! It was very hard, I got alot select all that apply, prioritize, but I not one calculation! Im so nervous! It shut of at 85. Has this ever happened to anyone and passed or this BAD news????:uhoh21:
