 I studied as instructed as well as attended a seminar. This is my 2nd time around and it shut off at 85. I was excited as well as scared as if though I broke the computer or something. I prayed that it would shut off at 85 as well as receive a letter saying that I passed. I will not no anything for a little while I am in Calif. :uhoh3:

I hope you passed and am excited for you! Keep us posted!

I took my nclex Friday as well and I was so scared because I got all 205 questions. I was sick all weekend waiting for the results. I called the state board of nursing Monday and I got my results. Im so happy I did that because I found out I passed and I couldnt put myself through the wait any longer. If it is possible for you to call your state board of nursing, I would give it a try. If not, think positive. You seemed as though you were really prepared. So good luck.

Hi guys, I just took the NCLEX today with my friend and even though we were A students in school and have studied nonstop for the past four months, we feel we failed. Ours both shut off at 85 and we both agreed that we must have guessed at 85% of the test. There was not alot on there that we were familiar with (drugs not common that we were't familiar with and that they didn't tell you what type of drug they were) so if you didn't know the drug name you were lost. That was the worst thing I have ever been through. Now since we live in California we could have a four week wait and I don't know how I will make it through this. Does anyone else feel like the NCLEX was a nightmare like we did? We felt like why did we waste four months of our life on this, we're not sure how much it helped. We are so stressed out and upset!!! Help!!! I wish all of us the best of luck though and will keep praying that we all pass.

Thank you for your words of encouragement. Sleep is minimal because I can't help but wonder how I did this time. I can not go through this for another 3 weeks it's gonna kill me. I have no choice but to wait but, now I can't really rest easy. I just pray that we all pass.

Hi Idyrie and honeybabyolivia, I'm sweating it out just like you. I took my NCLEX on 2/16 and mine shut off at 85 and I feel like I failed. I'm so anxious and scared, I don't know how I will get through the next four weeks (California). It's so cruel ! If only I could get quick results like most states and not have to go through this long wait. Four months of studying and I feel like I failed. I am praying we all pass each day. Take care everyone.

Good luck to all who are waiting for the results. It is so hard to wait a day I can not imagine waiting weeks.

Oldernursingstudent I can understand how you feel about those drug questions. I think I had bout 10 or so and I was clueless on them & I too walked out feeling I bombed that test but I passed with 85 questions. I hope that gives you some hope.

Thank you so much for your encouragement. I feel so discouraged right now. I am so happy for you and congratulations!!! I'm going to try and keep myself busy for the next however many weeks it takes to get my results. (why do I have to live in california!!!!) :( Will let you know when I hear something. Thanks again. Take care. :)
