Published

Just to let everyone know....i got 75 questions and know I failed so yes you can graduate with high honors and fail.....that test was crazy...what do they expect from all of us we can't possibly know everything..i recognized absolutely nothing and the priority questions were nuts!!!!!

So yes it is possible to fail at 75, so I guess I will be doing this again in July!!!

You guys are the best for encouraging me. I actually went online and tried to schedule my next try at NCLEX (Thankfully Pearson wouldn't let me) because I was SO convinced I had failed. Guess what, you were right!

I PASSED!!!:lol2: Not sure how, but I did pass! So to all the rest who feel hopeless after the torture of NCLEX, don't give up hope! You may have passed too! VerySadStudent is now VERYHAPPYRN!!!

CONGRATS! I am very very happy for you! :monkeydance: :lol2: :jester: :biggringi

I am sooooo happy for you! I think you are a prime example that you should never count yourself down and out until you receive those results because only a very few feel confidant that they passed when they walk out of that testing center (those people usually fail). So....I am thinking very positive about mine (wiil know tomorrow). It sounds like I had a very similar test as you!;)

Well, I am in the same boat as Shannon was. I took my NCLEX yesterday at 9am and I am sure I flunked. I have been an LPN for nearly 5 years and I was dumbfounded when I left. I don;t know if I passed or failed. My test shut off at 75 questions. People keep saying that most people who shut off at 75 questions pass. I have prayed so much that God has to be tired of hearing from me. But, all I can say is God's will be done. If anyone has any uplifiting words, I am rn_bsn_2006 on Yahoo IM.

i feel the same way too. i had 75 questions and i have no idea how i did. i keep thinking i failed. i was an a student in school, but this test was unlike anything i have experienced. i will find out tomorrow morning...waiting is the worst. good luck!

Hey everyone! Took NCLEX this a.m. Got 75 questions, flunked the heck out of it I'm pretty sure, so I'll probably be saying this again in 45 days. Guess I'll find out for sure in a couple days, but if I'm right, shows that yet another honors student can do poorly on NCLEX, I swear I felt like I'd never seen so much of that stuff!

I am with all of you, if you read my other post, you will see that I too had taken the test today and got 75 questions. I am praying that I pass, since I guessed at 90% of them..... ahh I think I need a tums for my belly

I had the same experience. Took RN boards this morning at 9, left at 10 after it shut off at 75. I only got one math question, the very first question (what a way to start, huh?) and probably 15-20 select all that apply, tons of priority, who to see first (when both are having airway problems, or two are bleeding severely, ahhhhh! damned maslow ;)). I was an excellent student in school, but I seriously had to guess between 2 answers on over 75% of the multiple choice questions. So, either I guessed horribly on all of them, or I did okay. We'll see I guess. Reading all of your experiences makes me feel better. :)

I am in the same boat as all of you. I took the NCLEX-PN on Monday, July 3rd and I haven't been able to sleep or eat since. I am a NERVOUS wreck. The min. is 85 and it shut down at 89. I felt that I only KNEW about 5 questions and the rest may have been educated guesses. I got a lot of priority questions. What do you think?

i haven't taken the nclex yet, but that test sure does sound like torture. i'm so glad that you passed and you don't have to endure that nightmare again!!!

What a great encouragement! Hehe, funny how things work out.
