Well, I done it 75 questions and boom. When i finnished the test I said YES I passed, but until I came home and I looked up on the questions I start to think I didn't do so great. And now I feel like I fail. I know that the number of q's doesn't mean anything. I have 2 friends 1 passed with 75 and one failed with 75 and both of them studied hard.

I had the first questions easy and then it was getting more hard but not very hard and then I had mix of qs from every area. A lots of assesment and priority and infection control, some tx communications and teaching in peds., 2 questions about incident report, Select all that apply and no math questions, no delegations. Some q's were easer other harder it was big mac mix. Diabetes only 2 the basic ones and CHF and Addisons just common things. The last 8 questions was only priority and the last was infection control. Why I think I fail and my instinct is telling me I passed. I 'm so confuse, got huge headache, I didn't sleep all night before exam.

Did I had a hard questions or easy?

Hey....your exam is now over....YEAH :) !!

Sounds like you are having pretty normal reactions after....and it is easy to start questioning yourself.

Try to stay positive in the meantime....most important to catch up on that lost sleep and to try to relax the best you can.

Wishing you the best of luck :) !!

(mine seemed like a mix of q's as well and had lots of assess/teach/prioritize/drg?'s/infect control/psychosocial comm & passed c 75--Don't give up hope ;) !!)

Your test sounds like mine too. I got 75 q's yesterday and I ended up with an infection control question about TB. I ended with priority. I would get a few priorities in a row, maybe 4-5 and then a teaching question. I got 2 delegation questions. NO select all that apply. My math question came at the very end, like #70 or so.

Odds are you passed. When I left yesterday I wasn't sure if I passed or failed but I knew I least felt peace with how I did on the exam. I didn't think the questions were very hard, there was just 2 really good choices and they needed to be narrowed down.

Forgot to say I passed!!!

Try and relax! I'm sure you passed! Hopefully you will hear very soon.

Oh I forgot to say I looked up answers yesterday I started doubting myself too because some were wrong. Just remember you usually only remember the questions on exams that gave you the most trouble. The ones that didn't give you trouble, you don't tend to remember.

I think you are very smart because you remember all of your NCLEX questions! If I had a good memory like yours, I would not even doubt myself. I am on the same boat as you. Still waiting and waiting and waiting, I took mine on Monday. I am trying to think about the questions that I answered too. All I could remember is that I didn't even know how many mcg in one ml? Gosh, I still can't figure it out. I was pretty good at Math when I was in school but I couldn't even do the simpliest question on my test. Sad, isn't it? I think I was too nervous and I wasn't focusing when I took my test.

I got 75 qestions and I think I could fail nicely with 75 questions.

I hope the Texas BON will post my result tomorrow, or else I will be yelling at my kids and husband for another day or two (is this what you call projection?)

I hate NCLEX. I have to get some sleep now. I will pray for both you and myself.

Livtek, We are thinking the best for you. Let us know how you did! We hope that you did well! Relax for now, ok?

I took mine on the same day as yours and I felt the same way. I felt like "I didn't fail." but once I got home I went on here and also looked up some questions to see how many people fail at 75 questions and I started freaking out.

Everyone at the ED I work at keeps telling me "you passed..." and I'm like "I dunno..."

I hope I did but I am not taking anything for granted. I studied hard so I would be very disappointed to fail at 75, but who knows?

I felt like I got a big mix of questions like you did, but towards the end I kept getting the questions like "Which patient would you see first?" or "Which message would you return?" Luckily the questions on specific diseases were on things like SIADH, diabetes insipidus, hypothyroidism and addison's disease which I spent a lot of time and know fairly well...

Hopefully we both did great! Let us know...

Unfortunately I am at the mercy of the California BON so who knows when I'll find out.

Good luck to you, let us know the results. :)

I was thinking the same thing.....how do you all remember how many of what kind of questions?

I think I'll be in such a daze for months after, that I won't ever remember any of the questions! lol

Good luck to you all!! :)

Thanks for support. I did my test in California too.

I remember almost every question, but I'm scared because I felt like this questions was not that hard and even the priority questions was easy to find out with ABC.

I know that last question I got right and it was easy question about infection control-precaution. I felt on this test like I did this questions on my practice test, not the same completely, but very similar.

I did a lots of questions at least 5000 before I went to test.

And a lot of study.

I think I failed -the test, because it was not very difficult like people are saying. There was maybe some that you need to think about.

If you know your nursing content, you can easily find out the answer.

Maybe I got very easy questions. But no math question!

I know I got couple wrong at least 5.

I.m getting headache, but what is gonna happen, has a reason I believe in that. Maybe it is not my time.

Will see....
