She died yesterday. In a small plane crash in Virginia. One of the most beautiful (inside & out) nurses that I will ever have the privilege of working with. Two of her four children perished with her.
Last year, her husband committed suicide. Leaving her to raise the four teens on her own. She persevered. She had just now seemed to be coming back to her "old" self.
And now she's gone. And 2 of her 4 children survive, only to have lost their mom, dad & 2 siblings in a very short span of time.
Hold your loved ones close. Treasure your time on earth. It is not guaranteed.
I'm so sorry to hear Roser, my thoughts and love to you and the 2 remaining children. What a tragedy. I hope the children have a lot of love and support from other family members.
A couple of months ago I experienced the loss of my Father and have just spent a wonderful couple of days just with my Mum, cherishing each other and talking a lot. Walking along the beach together finding shells and laughing at the dogs is a memory I'll never forget.
