How many of you are already tired of summer school? We just started our 4th week and I'm already starting to feel burnt out on studying A&P all day, every day. Instead I've been hanging out here on the boards. Even though I'm behind in my reading and have a test in a couple of days.
I'd rather just enjoy the sun and hang out with my kids instead of studying. Just wondering how many of you out there are feeling the same way.
I'm finishing my last class, micorbiology and I am already tired of it as well. Everything is so crammed in, but it will be worth it.
Our teacher is very helpful and can see our pain, but it is something we must do.
I still can't see why we need micro unless we plan on becoming Medical Techs or Microbiologists. I also notice repetitive sujects I learned in chemistry and biology such as agglutination tests.
I'm in the 4th week of a 6 week, 3x/week for 5 hours a pop, A&PII class.
The prof informed us last night that "often, the entire class fails my final!" How's that for encouragement?! She's actually a fun and lively instructor, and really knows her stuff, but I'm busting my butt to make an 86 average so far--and that's only cuz I'm working only10 hours/week. A couple of my friends with full time summer jobs are barely pulling Cs.
All I do is take care of my kids and study A&P . . . I mostly don't even know what day it is anymore . . . just counting the days until this class ends.
I am taking Chemistry and am SICK OF IT!!! It is 8 weeks long and there is just so much info it is mindboggeling. I also have Nutrition but thank god that is online but it is still a lot of work.
Just last night I was sitting at the kitchen table after my kids and hubby were in bed studying Chemistry and I just wanted to throw in the towel. But I know once it is over with I will be glad it is out of the way. At least we only have 4 more week left- think of it that way.
I serioulsy don't think I will be making an A in Chemistry either because I am taking it over the summer with another class, I should get a B though.
I dont know if I will ever take anymore summer classes though after this.....lol

I can totally relate. I am in my 4th week (out of 8) of A&P II and am having difficulty. I am not doing well, so far I have a D in the class. I am hoping the next test will bring me out of that. I also have a TV course which I have not done too much with. I can't believe I did this to myself. Hopefully we can all make it through.
I'm there with ya'll too! I'm almost half way through Micro...and walking. Our instructor (who is wonderful) is gone for three weeks up in the Artic Circle studying wolves.....boy do we miss her! The Dr. taking her plac e is interesting, but teaches differently and no one is sure what will be on the test.
Hopefully I'll be in the Nursing program this fall and I already have a request from my husband not to take any classes next summer-no problem!
Hang in there everyone, it WILL get better!

I know the feeling of all your friends being on vacation! All of mine are off visiting relatives in other states (the dirty bums :)) Oh well I can't wait til July 17, so I go to the beach any darn day I want! Oh well I can just sit here and wait for the weekend..oh glorius weekend..well compared to the regular semester this isnt too bad..I only have 2 classes (chem & pe lab/gym). Becuase of the stupid California budget cuts thier were no other summer classes that fit in with my chem schedule! (well that I needed anyway, and I hate college by TV courses)
Man do I know what you guys are talking about, started micro, organic chem, and english comp II this week and already I am ready to go the nearest beach and never come back and I live in Ohio! I'm wondering if someone slipped me some crack when I was registering for the summer to make me take both micro and organic chem at the same time not to mention have to write about a million research papers for my english class.:stone I am getting depressed just typing this....
