Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA

Published

I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Thank you! I just sent my complaint in! They also say contacting the governor's office can help. I tried to call, but had to just email because of the busy lines.

I called again, for the 5th week in a row (and over 10 calls in a row to even be able to speak to someone) - and my fingerprints have been rejected. They have had my applications for over 15 weeks now (person I spoke to even confirmed my applications were received 4/1).

I cannot even begin to express the rage and anger I am feeling right now.

Fist of all, I am sorry for what happened to you.

Did you find out about this rejection by chance when you called to follow up? Or did they tell you about it via email or breeze account or something? I mailed everything in mid April, and still nothing yet. I wonder if I should call or continue to wait.

I found out it was rejected when I called to follow up. It doesn't sound like they would have informed me via faster means of communication such as email or phone call, they sent a letter which should be arriving at the end of this week. They received all of my documents 4/1 and I still have nothing to show for it, so I wish you luck.

Umm so the processing times page says that the BRN is currently processing temporary licenses from May 1-15. My application was received 4/1. What gives?!

tHE brn STILL SAYS THEY ARE DOING MARCH 1-15, IT HAS SAID THIS FOR WEEKS!

YOU SAID YOU SUBMITTED YOUR IN APRIL AND YOUR FINGER PRINTS WERE REJECTED, DOES THAT MEAN THEY STARTED THEIR APRIL APPS BUT JUST HAVENT UPDATED THE BOARD??

THIS WHOLE THING HAS BECOME SO FRUSTRATING!

P.S SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS, I DONT WANT TO RETYPE, I AM MAD BUT I AM NOT YELLING LOL

From what I understand after speaking with them, they are still on the March applications, so the online processing page is correct. When looking at my file, they said they could not verify that my transcripts had been received until they began processing April applications, but that everything else, aside from my rejected fingerprints, "looked good so far."

If anyone is interested, on this page, on facebook...anywhere. I suggest we get a group together (lots of us), and drive up to sacramento. Since we aren't working, we should demand they let us help with processing so things can move faster. I am being serious, too.

I'm still stuck in Philadelphia! Haha, I've been staying at my parents house and would hate to leave and not get my license for weeks. At the same time however, I am considering going early to relax and just get there already. If so, id totally join!

I would except I just submitted my paperwork June 27. They will just turn me away.

I filed a complaint with the BRN, the Department of Consumer Affairs as well as with the Governor's office on Friday, July 16th. The Department of Consumer Affairs responded first stating that they would forward my complain to the BRN. Then the Governor's office responded that they would forward my compliant to the Department of Consumer Affairs. Ugh....

Sigh, sorry lady! What is everyone doing in the meantime for work without their licenses?

I am still in NM... Literally waiting... I should have applied a lot sooner... I didn't realize it would take this long. Sigh.

We are waiting to close on a home and can't withoit work. So frustrated

We are also waiting to close on a house, but I need to get my license and first pay stub before that can happen.
