Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA

Published

I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hi when I sent transcript requests I purchased priority envelopes with tracking confirmation so the schools could send the paperwork directly to the BRN ( but they are probably in a stack of mail at the BRN). I also called the live scan and checked ATI number and prints were received. I did my application online too but then sent in my paper app for the temp. When did you apply? What a shock it is to see others applying in April and still not having the license. I hope I did the application correctly I submitted online.

That was smart! I should have done that with my transcripts! I applied mid May, and am about to send in a paper app for the temp license...I have no idea which one I will end up getting first! I hope I did my application correctly online also, is there any way of knowing if we did something improperly? I am going to call the livescan where I did my prints, good idea! What is the ATI you are referring to though? Now I am nervous, lol!

Umm so the processing times page says that the BRN is currently processing temporary licenses from May 1-15. My application was received 4/1. What gives?!

Hi here is the info for the livescan,

The phone number is (916) 227-4557. You will need the following information: (1) your date of birth; and (2) the 10-digit Automated Transaction Identifier (ATI) number that appears at the bottom of the Department of Justice form requesting Live Scanfingerprint background check

Ctabs14 isn't that enough time for you to file a complaint against them? Or is that just for permanent license?

Hey everyone.

Just wondering how everything is going for everyone else.

I applied by paper 5/6/16 (that's when they received it)

Check cashed 6/22

Showed up on breeze 6/23 pending missing education hx (was told this is a default status)

I submitted hard copy finger prints, later did livescan

I spoke with someone at BON (called number on main page at 8 am CA time) was told they would get to my application in august (EHHHH)

but they did have my live scan prints in...

JUst playing the waiting game.

We are trying to relocate our family to California. We are in the process of buying a home but our loan wont go through until we have one full pay stud to show employment... this is so frustrating...

Any good news from anyone??

I did not apply for a temp license. I wish I did, Is it to late to apply for one? Has anyone had success with this??

HELP!

My breeze page has no deficiencies, do I have to call them to make sure they got my transcripts? I know my fingerprints and applications were delivered....

I've filed a complaint on both, but haven't heard anything back yet.

I called again, for the 5th week in a row (and over 10 calls in a row to even be able to speak to someone) - and my fingerprints have been rejected. They have had my applications for over 15 weeks now (person I spoke to even confirmed my applications were received 4/1).

I cannot even begin to express the rage and anger I am feeling right now.

Sorry to hear that, I would be livid too. How did you find out that your fingerprints were rejected? Each time I call I never get any answers and all they do is refer to the time frame. I am moving to CA the end of August and its looking like I will not be able to secure a job before I move with all of these delays.

I've been calling every week for the past 4 or 5 weeks. Today, I had to call over 10 times before I was finally connected with someone. I am moving August 3rd and now there's no way I'm going to have my temporary or permanent license before then.

When you filed a complaint was there a number you called? I would call them again because to me it sounds like you've waited what your suppose to, it's them that have the problem. I'm sobsorry I know how you feel I Endorsed my Lpn 3 years ago and it was a long process. Id call and file a complaint on them until I got a response from someone from BrN. Good luck!
