Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA

I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Ugh, that sucks Ctabs!!!! I am so so sorry, I would be upset beyond belief! Where are you moving to? What are you considering doing for work in the meantime?

We are also waiting to close on a house, but I need to get my license and first pay stub before that can happen.

Exactly same boat! When did you apply?? What are you doing about the house in the mean time?

Just logged onto breeze, the "missing education history" has been taken off. The deficiency box is now empty... Hopefully this means someone is looking at it *fingers crossed*

We fly out of Hawaii and arrive in Cali on Aug. 8th. We will be staying with my friend while we wait to get into a house. The job that I have lined up is at a critical access hospital in a very small town, so there are not many other job opportunities for me to do while I wait. My husband will be attending school and therefor will not be bringing in any money when we get there. This is so stressful.

I wish that I could do more to help everyone out. I have thought about contacting the California Nurses Association but I don't know if they would be of any help or even care because I am not a member (yet). I have also thought about contacting the news media because this has been an on going problem since 2013 (at least).

How long did the status take to change after you guys applied online? Mine has been the same since my application. 06/27.

Im an LVN working PRN Homehealth right now, the childcare rate is ridiculous here. I can't afford to work for 23 and hour and hire a babysitter for 20. I have posted ads in Sittercity and Craigslist for child care. Since they make as much as an LVN.

I sent in a paper app 5/4 (when they got it, with hard finger prints).

Check cashed 6/23.

Showed up on breeze 6/24 with pending, missing education history .

When on vacation I did live scan finger prints also (just in case)

Today 7/21, more then 11 weeks after original submission missing history disappeared.

Still waiting..

I called this week and they said maybe in another 4-6 weeks till they get to may apps.

Who knows at this point.

(Some dates may be off a day or two, doing to memory)

Floxy, I could be wring but I thought the LVN and RN APP might be different. Not sure.

Did you submit all your stuff online 6/27?

I should also add I didn't even show up. On breeze till my check was cashed, so over a month till my profile even showed pending

It is different, I was an LVN when I moved to TN and we came back two years later and Im now an RN so Im endorsing RN and I did the whole process online, except the Temp License which they say to send in. But nothing on my app status has changed it still says pending and I have an RN application # Im assuming thats what it is.

Oh and I paid with Credit card and it was taken out the same day.

I wish I would have done it online. But the directions werent clear when I did it. Like a week later all the info was up. Hopefully switching to online speeds up the process. It will be kind of neat to see how fast yours clears!!!

P. S congrats about lvn to rn, sorry you have to wait. It's so frustrating
