Hello all! I recently moved to LA area, and have roughly a year of RN experience under my belt. Some med/surg, the rest home health. I am very eager to get into psych and mental health nursing, as my eventual goal is PMHNP. I was wondering if any of you know of facilities that hire experienced RNs without official psych experience, or what some reputable places are? Thank you in advance!!

Did it randomly show up on breeze or did you get your hard copy in the mail first? I have my boyfriend checking our mailbox in CA daily...I don't know what to expect!

Me too...He said that it will be 12 weeks from when they start processing end of May paperwork...

what did you say in your complaint? Everything of mine was submitted 5/29, and I just had to move back to IL from CA because I could not work as a nurse! When I called 3 weeks ago, they confirmed they had all of my information (aside from transcripts, as they could not confirm those until my date group (end of may) began processing), and the gentleman I spoke to told me to expect my license in late November. I am completely distraught!!! I don't even know where to start my complaints!

Ugh, that sucks Ctabs!!!! I am so so sorry, I would be upset beyond belief! Where are you moving to? What are you considering doing for work in the meantime?

If anyone is interested, on this page, on facebook...anywhere. I suggest we get a group together (lots of us), and drive up to sacramento. Since we aren't working, we should demand they let us help with processing so things can move faster. I am being serious, too.

My breeze page has no deficiencies, do I have to call them to make sure they got my transcripts? I know my fingerprints and applications were delivered.... Iverina, I feel your pain. Playing the waiting game also, but I am already out here. I have the same question about the temp license too...someone help us!

That was smart! I should have done that with my transcripts! I applied mid May, and am about to send in a paper app for the temp license...I have no idea which one I will end up getting first! I hope I did my application correctly online also, is there any way of knowing if we did something improperly? I am going to call the livescan where I did my prints, good idea! What is the ATI you are referring to though? Now I am nervous, lol!

Hey there! How were you certain they received all of your paperwork? My Breeze says pending-open...and that is it. I have heard that sometimes it takes a while for the temp to show up, but I have no idea why! Sorry to hear about the job applications...I am in the same boat!Fingers crossed for all of us!!!!
