Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA

Published

I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Congratulations!!!!!

I got a "missing education history" in the Breeze system deficiencies with a note of "Maricopa Comm College TX in suspense md". So, I assume they got the transcript from my community college at the BON, but there is some question to the course as a pre req? I only took a pre req math course there, I wouldn't think there would be a problem. Anybody else have experience with this particular message and happen to have any resolution?

I hope this is the only hang up because I sent transcripts from about five different colleges.

Other than that, I submitted everything in early September and my application is listed as "pending". My check was cashed 9/25. I am unsure of the livescan going through yet, etc., and will have to start making the phone number rounds on the weekdays when the offices are open. My fingerprints are a possible issue because I have poor fingerprint quality because of my hobby of rock climbing.

I am moving next week. Fortunately, my spouse has a job. Unfortunately, that won't be enough for months on end. Well, off to work the rest of my shifts and then figure out what is going on.

My "missing educational history" note is finally gone. Hopefully that means something.

If fingerprint quality is poor and you get rejected twice, then you can have a name check done. Now, I have to have the record here... but in another discipline, I've been waiting since 2013!

Congrats to those who finally have their license endorsed. I'm still waiting. Everything seems to be cleared off now on my breeze account so hopefully my license number will show up soon. Will keep everyone updated!

Good news. I'm also endorsing from TX. BRN cashed my check on 9/3. Confirmed today my fingerprint cards came back cleared. The lady I spoke with still quoted me 90 days from the date the check was cashed. I'm hoping that's just their standard response and that I, like you, will be approved much sooner.

SeanRN they cashed my check on 9/3 and I did finger cards also. I hope we are on the same timeline.

I am frustrated right along with the rest of you all.

I mailed in my application in August- 13th

Check cashed August 28th

Application started September 4th

Transcripts, live scan and manual fingerprints completed, Nursys sent

And I paid for a temporary license.

I dont understand, if I call and they tell me all of this, why cant they just press the BUTTTON!

Has anyone from late July gotten a response yet?

Check Mailed 8/28

Cashed 9/9

Had missing education history but it dissapeared on 10/7

Called on 10/10 for status.. fingerprints cleared I did livescan

Still waiting for my transcripts to be processed :(

Its been 6 weeks since they received my paperwork 4 weeks since they cashed the check

I hope to get it by the end of October (9 weeks)

I called and got an update on my application which was started on September 3rd. They said right now they're working on all applications started (meaning the check was cashiered) in July. Then in November they will be doing all August applications and mine should arrive some time in December. I guess I have no choice but to be fine with that. At least I have a timeline. I just wish it was sooner.

I received my temp license today. App started 9/4 as stated online.

Thank you ! I had no idea how to do this either. My timeline:

April - mailed application

May - waited

June - check cashed

July - fingerprints one and two

Aug - called - was told a few weeks ago everything is peachy, just waiting for my FBI name check as my fingerprints were yet again unreadable

Sept - just got a letter stating I have missing educational requirements like oral communication and micro

Guess I will be shelling out yet more money. While I was waiting for the CA license I was able to apply for and receive my Oregon, Washington and Texas licenses. I'm heading off to Washington for a travel assignment now. I'm glad I don't have to depend on CA for my income!

Update - called again today. Was told my FBI name clearance was still pending. I politely told the woman that the last time I called my name check was fine and that they needed additional transcripts (which I promptly had sent out). She was confused as my stated I was sent a letter in August that I had deficiencies but she couldn't see what. I was transferred over to the fingerprinting office. Left a message, I really didn't think I'd get a call back. But I did and that woman said yes indeed by clearances were all complete including the name check and they were just waiting on those additional transcripts. I asked about the temp license that I'd paid for and she said she'd send an email so I can at least get that while I have another set of transcripts sent in. And so the saga continues.....
