Are you feeling run down? Are you tired of working x amount of hours? Tired of co-worker's constant complaints ... tired of all the policy changes ... tired of all the doctors who ignore your calls ... Then it may be time for a vacation. Where would be your perfect vacation?

Gosh where to begin...first step is winning the lottery to afford these wonderful trips! All your suggestions sound great. I love Yellowstone National Park, most of the western US actually is pretty great. I would love to go to Australia, Africa, Brazil and the old classic European tour that used to be the thing years ago...remember when the well off college kids took a year off to see Europe before school?

I've never been abroad. This thread is compelling me to obtain my passport. :)

Just this Thursday I got my birth certificate, a passport picture and a passport application. Was standing in the post office awaiting my appointment to finish the process when worked called with an emergency and a request I report to the facility immediately. Drats....another day.

Hoping to escape to a beach in the Bahamas someday soon.

That said anyplace with mountains would probably be just as beautiful. I haven't been to the Colorado or Canadian Rockies and would like to see them one of these days.

My best friend lives in the Denver area and I've been there to visit her many times. Pictures of the Rocky mountains don't even do it justice. We got to camp up in the mountains and the views take your breathe away...especially when you are riding around the Rockies on a 4 X 4..it was incredible.

As for me my sister and I went to Amsterdam and France. We saw Anne Frank's house and went to the Anne Frank museum in Amsterdam. In France we went to Paris and went to the Eiffel tower and Euro-Disney. We didn't have a lot of time unfortunately to see everything we wanted to see.

As for vacations...picking one is going to be impossible...

Next vacation I want to go back to Paris and go to the Louvre. I would absolutely love to see St George, La belle Jardinière, St. Michael and pretty much anything else by my beloved artist Raphael. I would of course love to see the Mona Lisa and Virgin of the Rocks by Da Vanci.

State side I have ALWAYS wanted to go to Portland Oregon. I don't know why, seems like its a place any and everyone can enjoy and I've wanted to go there since I was 10.

And how can I forget Belize. Been obsessed with tropical islands since I was a teen. I even got a beach scene of Belize tattooed on my left ankle..palm trees with the sun setting on the beach and everything.

...Maybe one day....

Cayman Islands-best diving!

My sister goes to Belize every year; I have been saving up...maybe next May?

Also lately I have just been wanting to rent a convertible and drive out West...never been to Vegas, so that is on the list.

Anywhere it's sunny and warm and has lots of water surrounding it....

Amen!

The Beach! prefer white sand in the USA. would like to head to Florida or the gulf coast.

I am a professed Whovian geek, so the perfect vacation for me would be to the UK to check out all of the Doctor Who places, etc.
