THRILLED- No careplans

i'm absolutely thrilled to know that there are no care plans for my last medsurg class ! there are other assignments that will keep us busy but i will take those assignments over a care plan any day! i know if there are any for psych though but i will cross that bridge if and when i get there. super excited ! :D

Same here... no care plans for us either in the fourth semester (as long as we passed the first three). Good riddance!!!

I noticed my school focused heavily on care plans during the first year, then only in 3/4 clinical rotations our junior year (gero med-surg, med-surg & OB) and then after that we didn't do them. I wonder if that is becoming the norm? Regardless, I hated doing them!

Our instructors announced at the beginning of our 3rd semester that Med-Surg clinical that Care Plans are being phased out. When that will actually happen is a mystery.
