I have very little to share this week. Truth is, it's been the hardest week I've had in a very long time.
This week, I have learned (relearned):
Mental health crises do affect all of us at some time.
It's a good idea to have Life Crisis's phone number and a local phone number for a local group similar to life crisis saved in your phone whether you think you'll need it or not.
Hyper vigilant anxiety/stress will leave you utterly exhausted. It might also rip up your tummy.
We still have so much further to go before the stigma is removed from mental illness and the medications used to help treat those who need them.
Forgive the abbreviated post. I hope your week has treated you well!
This week I learned that I will probably have to wait another year to apply to the bridge program at my school. Since my boss decided to hire a nurse to relieve me that can't be here until an hour after my shift is supposed to end, I can't make it to the only class I have to take this semester that I can't take online.
My only other option would be to work 13 hours, sleep for two, go to the later class, sleep for two more hours, and then back to work for 13 hours. I'm pretty sure I would end up sleeping through class, or worse, falling asleep during my shift. I'm getting too old for this stuff!
I learned writing care plans is much easier with a nursing diagnosis handbook.
Shout out to UPS for my delivery being 2 days late.

I've learned that I may have to stay a SN forever, just so I can stay on the SN Forum.
