How did you knick their line? Listen, everyone makes mistakes. I can't comment on your situation because I don't know the details. If you identified the problem, intervened appropriately, and the patient is okay, you are most likely fine. You will likely get pulled off the case and hopefully your employer will give you some remedial training and supervision to make sure you are safe to practice. You would only lose your license if you were grossly negligent.

Knicked a pts picc line. Started to.bleed applied pressure n pressure dressing. Sent pt to er for replacement. Pt drove self against my advice. checked bavk wit pt later that day n pt stated they put new picc n he was fine. Fam complained I was suspended n they r investigating. Sld I b concencered bout bon?
