Yes, Ag and Auto Mechanics can keep you busy. This brought back a memory from a few years back. Shortly after the 2nd semester started, they had put some athletic boys out in the AG shop who were not going to participating in spring sports. I had a Little Darling come in with 2 (remember this number) perfect circular wounds on the palm of his hand. When I asked what he had done, he told me he was attempting to use a drill to drill through a glove and not hit his hand. WHAT!? No only did you fail the first time, you had to try a second time just to confirm you findings? REALLY!!!!!
I wrote up the accident/incident report and took it to the principal and recommended LD be pulled from the class ASAP!!!!
They have kiosks for them in the shopping malls now. Yep, they are the latest fad and not very expensive. Five Below sells them for $5.
I am not a fan. Several of them going in plain sight while trying to teach a class is very distracting. If they are used properly as a fidget device, I shouldn't be seeing them out and about.

Fidget Spinners. I first heard of them through here, so I looked them up and thought wonder how long will it take to get here. Well their here!!!!
I am on a high school campus thus I have some big boy equipment in the AG shop. Well, a Little Darling came in with a red mark on his forearm. When I asked him about it this is his story.....
LD: Well, you know those fidget spinners?
ME: Yeah, just recently.
LD: We were out in the shop and used a Air hose to get it going as fast as we could. Then I touched it to my arm. Now it hurts when I put my sleeve on it or (waving his arm in the air)when I do this.
I just shook my head and covered the area with a bandage. Sometimes, it takes so much to not be a smart butt.
