I got offered a spot in the program!!! So, excited!!! For those of you out of state how long did it take for you to get your background check back and done, the website says 4 weeks approx and I am hoping it gets done sooner as the deadline for our license being done is exactly 4 weeks and I hear if we don't have it by the set date we lose our spot!!

Hello all! I have my interview on wednesday am... they just told me on friday afternoon and I have to fly out from florida! does anyone have any advice? I'm kind of really nervous, I graduated back in May so I feel i might be rusty! also does anyone know how long the endorsement process is? I read 2 weeks or even same day if you actually walk-in to the office.... if anyone could give me some info I would really appreciate it!

hi ccmg, I"m sort of in the same position as you. i'm flying in from Cali.. and have my interview on wed morning as well...

I'm not sure about the endorsement process.. but i figure that Washington will understand if anything, I mean we are getting interviewed on Feb2 and the program starts on the 22nd u kno!

Good luck, what time's ur interview... mine is at 11am.

Hi alohagirljam! Im so glad I got a response! so yes mine is at 11 too! in the true auditorium in the east bldg. I got here today, and im very anxious for tomorrow! Im hoping i dont get lost in the subway or what not! when are you coming in? do you know anyone who has already interviewed? when did you graduate? sorry for the 100 questions! I hope you have a safe trip here and hopefully flying out pays off! keeping my fingers crossed for boht of us!!!!!

Hi..well my interview is actually next week! the 2nd... i graduated in may as well, it's def been tough going...

um.. i have 4 girls that i know that have gotten jobs at washington and are loving it so far. they said that is' mostly a

one-on-one interview, but that u got into the auditorium to wait for them to call ur name and then they ask you

scenerio/behavioral questions...

I interviewed 2 weeks ago and was offered the job and no one said anything about a committment. So I don't belive there is one. Good luck on your interview!!!!

AlohagirlJam......How are you getting to the Hospital? Are you renting a car in DC o taking the Metro. Just trying to figgure out the metro route. I dont mind taking the subway but I am not looking forward to taking the Bus...ugh!

I just found out yesterday that I am am interviewing next week (the 2nd). I don't even take my NCLEX until the 12th and it is in MD! Does anyone know how that is going to work? I told them in my correspondance that was the situation so they are aware of it but is it possible to get my Maryland lic and then DC lic. between the 12th when I take my exam and have it by the 22nd to start? If I get offered the job, of course!
