@ handyrn, i would love to watch that documentary you were talking about in which they discussed c/s. L&D is def different than postpartum: love my babies and mama's and don't think u should run away from working with them b/c of a decision they decide to make with their doctor. I def am a newbie but am all about the holistic natural child birth as well..

I also had a question about Postpartum pain management, do you veteran nurses have any tricks as to how to deal with pain... like alternatives to pain meds? thanks!

Just got the call today! i'm from the bay area, and didn't have any connections to Cedars. Had a 3.5 GPA, but was very involved in school, and very enthusiastic through out the interview/application process.. Good luck to everyone. and keep waiting in there.. i think they'll be calling till friday

Hi..well my interview is actually next week! the 2nd... i graduated in may as well, it's def been tough going... um.. i have 4 girls that i know that have gotten jobs at washington and are loving it so far. they said that is' mostly a one-on-one interview, but that u got into the auditorium to wait for them to call ur name and then they ask you scenerio/behavioral questions... good luck! since it seems like ur interview will be tomorrow.

hi ccmg, I"m sort of in the same position as you. i'm flying in from Cali.. and have my interview on wed morning as well... I'm not sure about the endorsement process.. but i figure that Washington will understand if anything, I mean we are getting interviewed on Feb2 and the program starts on the 22nd u kno! Good luck, what time's ur interview... mine is at 11am.

hey ya'll so, i got the same thing. i posted it on a different thread. but I heard that they weren't doing the typical 2nd interview that day because the directors had that 3:30 meeting that afternoon. Also I received the email and so I guess just fill it out.... since it can't hurt. did anyone actually do it yet?

hey guys, so what i heard was that there were no second interviews for the day like originally suggested or though. Because of the director meeting that was held the directors weren't doing second interviews. So if they did call u up it was basically to say thank you, clarify anything that needed to be clarified, and to tell you that they will contact you with the results. as for the other HR table, it was for benefits and if you had any questions about the new grad program. And just to add on to what was said. Apparently in order to get into the speciality that you want. you need to complete the initial 4 mos. of med-surg. then wait till that specialty starts their training program. If you want to do that speciality you will have to interview for it again. Good luck everyone!

so i got a phone interview on the 4th as well, and they mentioned the open house. has anyone gotten an email response as to their appointment time?
