  7. hey coffeeismylife! I received an email and was set up for an interview last Thursday. I'm sorry I didn't post I have honestly been all over the place with work. It was a very quick interview with a clinical question at the end. They want to know why UM and they ask for a 5 year plan and what the role of the NP is. He said that it should be around 4 weeks to hear back. I really hope you hear from them soon. Don't be discouraged! I've read a million threads and they interview for a good couple of weeks it seems like. Hopefully we all get in !

  12. Hi RNdre3000! thank you so much for the information!! I have a friend that lives in Arlington so def going to look through there... I have also heard that MD is cheaper... which might be best for me right now.. Unfortunately I have to be near a metro because I will be leaving my car in Florida... ahh lol im excited/nervous/etc! Btw! I got Oncology Unit, did anyone else?! Hope to meet you all soon! take care! =)
  13. Hello Rndre3000! Right now I'm mostly trying to figure out an affordable/safe place to move to... And well something near the metro or with buses to the metro because I won't have a car... Do you have any pointers or advice?
  14. Hi herowneulogy! I had my int this past wed, got a call with a job offer the very next day! And on friday I went to the DC Dept of Health with my Fl license, 2 passport pics, and a $280 money order and I walked out that same day with a temporary license. (I have to wait on my background check) but the license if good thru april ... So!!! Florida is not a compact state and it was a one day process!!! So I really don't think you should sweat it!!!! Plus at the hospital they are super understanding and as long as ur endorsement is in process and u have the temporary letter you are okay. Good luck to you guys interviewing on the 2nd!!!!! The people are super nice and its a very relaxing atmosphere!!!! Bring a snack... I was there for almost 3 hrs... -_-! And just be yourselves!! I'm sure you guys will do great!!! Now I have to get crazy and find affordable living! If anyone has any advice on that please let me know!!!!
  15. Hello guys!!! Question! Is anyone looking for a roomate? Or could anyone give me any tips on finding affordable housing? Any recommendations? Thank you!!
