I applied to start the nursing program in the Fall. My GPA is good, but its right on the borderline of getting accepted and not getting accepted. I'm driving myself crazy waiting to get that letter!!
I go to the mall or I go to a store and I see a watch, shoes, etc. and think "Oh, that would be a perfect for clinicals." Everyone keeps asking me when I start clinicals and I always say "Fingers crossed for August."
But seriously I'm going crazy with this waiting game. The first week of March cannot get here soon enough!!!!
I am applying to two schools in oklahoma and the deadlines for both were Feb 1st. I should know about them both by April 1st. I am stressing out way to much! I work with nurses and they are all constantly wanting to know if I have found out anything yet! I keep telling them April can't get here soon enough ... :-)
have you guys seen the 2.10.11 verizon iphone commercial? those clocks and the waiting... i keep thinking it's a future nursing student stalking her mailman not a new phone commercial.
Even though I turned mine in already, our application deadline isn't until March 1! I should know by June 1 at the latest.
I'm taking 4 classes this semester, including micro and patho, so that's helping keep me occupied. I think after the application deadline arrives and I know that decisions are being made, I will start freaking my mail lady out. Until then, I just try to focus on diseases and bacteria and not on the letter that will determine my future!

I'm in the same boat as you. The deadline isn't until March 1 and the decisions aren't given until May/June.. I'm freaking out. lol I also am taking classes and the labs to go along with them this semester (a total of 6 one being micro) trying to keep my grades up . If you don't mind me asking though what schools did you apply to? Good luck on getting in
Ugh the wait is really making me have second thoughts I have two small children and it hurts to leave them but I know I need to do this for myself and for them. My husband also says I have to do it because he is tired of hearing me talk about the wait!!!!

I have a back-up plan if I don't get in but it would still be heartbreaking. If I don't make it in this semester, then I'm going have to start retaking the classes I got a B in and try to make an A because this is my last semester of pre-reqs. I have plenty of homework to keep me busy, but doing the homework just reminds me of that looming application.

Anyway, to answer your question, I am a student at and applied to Boise State.
Aww I hope they feel better :) good luck to you in school. I'm applying here in Florida to FSU, UWF, UF, and UNF. :) I'm dying to find out the results :/ fingers crossed for now lol
