I was considering going through this university for my RN- BSN.... The school claims the program is only 13 months and 6,450 if all you need are your core nursing classes... If you need pre-reqs it can still take you as little as 13 months, but it's an extra 349.00 per course... This seems very reasonable... Just wondering if anyone has gone through this program or is currently doing this program?
I am also taking Research and Vulnerable Populations at the same time (right now) and I am doing well with my Research class although I hate research and I am not doing well in the Vulnerable Populations course. They require you to do a lot of work and the assignment takes sooooo long. The quizzes are stupid and have nothing to do with what you're actually reading. I have not been nervous about any other course during this program except this Vulnerable Populations class. I don't know what to do to do well.

Mzsantana if you'd like to commiserate with someone for the next 2.5 weeks email me [email protected]
Totally agree. The quizzes are ridiculous. I hadn't failed anything to date and the first quiz I failed. My average is horrid and the work load is way to much for a 5 week class. Even is I was taking it by itself.
this is exactly why I went somewhere else. Their service is horrible and if its a tell tale sign of how it will be while in their program, then I dont want any part of that. I have fellow RN co-workers who are in the program and they hate when they have to contact someone. These programs should be fighting for you and sounding interested you to come join them.

I've had pretty good luck so far with my academic coaches: most get back to me in a day or less.
My advisor on the other hand...well, they've improved, but it still takes a bit to hear from them. Fortunately I don't need to contact them often.
Yep glad to see its not just me if I hadn't already gotten to the point where I am I'd go elsewhere
While at times it has been frustrating. Just getting in for me was a comedy of errors - they kept place me in a not current file as I attended UTA 25 yrs ago. But even with that huge snafu I have to say it has gone quickly and mostly uneventful until the last class or so. I think my problems are clearly those of the AC that I have been assigned.
Fingers crossed I survive the next week LOL then I down to my LAST CLASS!!!

How are you holding up this session? I am taking research next, has it gotten any better? Vulnerable populations has been as much work as every said it is. The papers in that class take me forever! You can make one more week! Then please update on Capstone, I am anxious to hear what it is like.

Totally random. And I'm not ever going to be a research nurse and this topic and teacher couldn't be duller to me.....
