Hi everyone! Thought it would be helpful to make a thread for students planning on applying for UBC's Nursing Program for 2024! Use this as a platform to ask questions and share info for nursing applications ? Good luck to you all!!

But wow! being an LPN is a huge advantage, I'm sure you have a high chance of getting into UBC! I don't really have any healthcare experience so my supplemental appl might not be too strong
If you have a degree you can apply to the AE-BSN at KPU.Â

Hi Everyone!Â
Â
I received an offer at 3:30 PM, but I am turning this offer down since I was accepted elsewhere (UofT). I am hoping this gives someone on the wait list an admission offer.Â
Â
My stats are that I had around an ~88-89% in my last 30 credits and I am completing my final year in my undergrad at UofT in life science (Health & Disease). My ECs are that I am a residence advisor, tennis instructor, and president of a student equity club that focused on period poverty and gender-affirming care. I also worked as a clinical administrative assistant at a sports medicine clinic and worked as a certified nurse assistant in the states for a Summer.Â
Â
I wish you all the best and I hope you all receive an offer!Â

Hi! do you know if all offers were sent out today? or just a couple of them ?Â

so more offers should be sent out tomorrow ? not just wait lists and declines? sorry for all the questions the anxiety has just been keeping me up for the past few days & they aren't even updating my status on the applicant center 😞

hey! there's no confirmation about whether or not all offers have gone out. historically, waitlists and rejections follow the next day, but there is a chance their process has changed and offers are spilling over into today! as for your ssc, mine said my application was still being reviewed up until I hit refresh and I got admitted. so, don't worry too much yet. you got this!

Fingers crossed hopefully we get in and do not have to worry about second options 😀
