I passed NCLEX! I took it on Friday, feb. 27, had 75 questions and was so sure that I had failed. I called the BON today and they said they issued my license. So I'm just celebrating now! :balloons:

Thanks to all of you who prayed for me and who were concerned for me. I appreciate all of you.

Thanks all! It sure is a relief to say that NCLEX is OVER!!!!

Now I am going to prepare to move to texas where it is warm!!! LOL. Actually, I am working in a Neonatal Intermediate Care Unit now, but it is definately not the place for me. I'm ready to leave, and I will be turning in my notice soon. I just can't take that unit anymore. It sounds really bad since I am a new grad and new to this unit, but I just don't feel like a nurse on that unit. I feel like a mom. None of the babies I have had actually need a nurse. They need their parents. And seeing as how I have a kid of my own, being there makes me depressed and makes me long for my son. It's just not a good fit, and I have an offer elsewhere that I am going to take advantage of.

You sound like you've got your game plan down! I am truly happy for you and it sounds like a huge weight has been lifted from your shoulders.

Take a well-deserved breather before you jump into anything new and go to Texas as a NEW WOMAN! You're gonna do great, I just know it.

Congratulations again, and keep in touch, I want to know how that new job comes along.

Actually, Jacel, one of the first things I taught my son to say after I found out that I had passed was, "mommy is a nurse!" :chuckle:
