Just wanted to jump in and say "I'm baaaaccccckkkkkkkk"......had been out since December or so....just some illness and lot's going on.

Posted here because it's so very like "our" thread from last summer....Kudos to those who started and have managed to keep it going!

Will be jumping in now and again...pretty much my opinions have been already voiced by Ruby, GreenTea, Wooh, nurse56, mazy, Joanna and the "COBs".....

I think it's time to learn. This is a gold mine! You should pitch it on that show with the investors. Could you imagine their faces when you tell them the color with the most promise is liver failure yellow ?

Colors for the upcoming season of Fomite Factory Professional Scrubs:

Tube Feed (tan)

Liver Failure (a mustard yellow)

Code Brown (duh, brown!)

Iso Gown (ceil blue)

Trach Suction (celery green)

Bowel Prep (a pale yellow)

Necrosis Negro (black with a spanish flare??)

Color Me Granulated (dark pink)

Purulent Drainage (not the most flattering color, sort of a bone-yellow blend)

Those, of course are the solids.

We will offer a paisley pattern suitable for hiding ketchup and bbq stains, as well as the occasional spilled marguerita.

Not so sure I am ready to BE back.....spent some time on the "nursing with criminal......" and I won't do that again....

I particularly like the ones who think that because they have their records expunged the BON won't know anything about their past and therefore, it's perfectly ok to answer NO on all of those applications.......

Um, No....like the Great and Powerful Oz...the BON sees ALL! It's a little thing called the FBI data base....

I also equally like the "now that I have my second DUI will the BON suspend/revoke/slap my hand".......SECOND????? SECOND???? You didn't freakin' learn anything from the first? And the dirtbag responders who actually SIDE with them in their defense....

Seriously, I have 12 years of abstinence from ETOH......so I am no prude and I never got a DUI while I was drinking....why?

Because I didn't drink and drive. (it didn't stop me from drinking, just driving )

Your kitty looks exactly like my daughter's cat Penny...I mean, a Clone! Same markings.

I have a crazy Blue Point Siamese kitten that I actually got from the rescue society...full blooded.

She's sweet but nuts.

How about the one's who have just gotten that pesky DUI the very week before sitting for the NCLEX....wow, what bad timing...!

He's a cutie alright! He's diabetic and causes me an awful lot of extra work and money but he's worth it. (or so I keep telling myself)

Welcome back Diva! So you decided to just jump feet first into the criminal forum?

Is it possible for a cat to have dementia? My fat cat is 17, and I had to put him on anti-depressants for "behaviors" and ABX for a UTI. Talk about taking your work home with you. I'm giving him meds round the clock and running around cleaning up "accidents" all the time. Worth it though, the little guy's been with me through the wars -- I haven't always been all that pleasant to be around either.

My other is a Siamese/Persian/mixed up mix. She's gorgeous but is as crazy as a loon.

On an unrelated note, I want to petition to change the posters encouraging visitors to wash their hands from the ones with the creepy little happy germs to ones that say things like:

"Please, mind your fomites." and

"Fear the fomite."

With a picture of a fomite underneath. Maybe even a fomite wearing sweatpants...
