Hi All!

I'm a crazy father of 2 ex-premed who just recently turned down Northwestern to go into a RN program.

I already have an Associate in Science, but I'll be getting another ADN and then go to a 4 yr school.

When I went to an info session about the RN program ill be trying to get into, out of like 70 ppl only 5 were guys.

So I want to know are there any men out there?

I'll be starting my 2nd term in the nursing program tomorrow and look forward to another challenging term ( psych & obstetrics). Congrats mtreyes :beer:from another Filipino. I got my BA in Economics eons ago in the Philippines but it was never as tough as nursing school. Fortunately, I'm in a nursing program with a sizeable male population and a lot of really intense women so nails and hairs are not a major conversation topic.

Hey, I'm just starting my second semester of RN school (OB and Med/Surg) and am the only guy in the class. Not only that but all my instructors have been women and all the staff nurses I have worked with are female also. I was starting to feel like the only man in the world who wanted to be a nurse until I saw this site. Thanks guys.

We, as men, need to know that other men are not only in this field too, but that others are also coming in to it as well...like yourself.

Hey All,

I am looking for information on the Health Alliance in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am specifically looking for info on St Lukes West. Is it a good place to work? and are the units team oriented? Any info would help. I graduate in May and will apply there if it is a goos place.
