  2. thanks poohsdw. I'm also taking A&P II in the second summer session. A&P in the summer is said to be a challenge. Atleast i'm not alone in this. I hope everything goes well for both of us. My class starts next week. keep in touch.
  3. Anyone else taking A&P for summer 2006? I was hoping maybe we could create something similar to A&P (winter/spring) club.
  4. Thank you very much primadonna. I was planning along that line and your words gave me the reassurance I needed. Thank you again.
  5. Thanks. The Distance learning site is helpful.
  6. I am a new lvn and I don't any college credits, aside from LVN school. I definitely want to go back to school. But don't know what to choose. I have heard good things about excelsior but wanted to know if there's anything i should watch out for (ie clinicals: who evaluates clinicals and any positive things about that?) I dont know if I should go to a community college or go through excelsior. Please help.
  7. Please Help.... I passed the nclex and should have my license by the end of this week. I have searched many hospital websites near Dallas/Fort worth and can't find a single one with lvn/lpn positions. What happened to all the nursing shortages? are lvns extinct in hospital settings? I dread going back to LTC. But it seems like the only option available. I'm hoping to find a job soon so that I could go back to school for my RN. Any advice or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
  8. hey guys, I took my nclex pn yesterday. Cut off at 85 questions and I'm pretty sure I got the last question wrong. My mind was just numb as i exited the testing center. But now that I had a chance to think through, I'm more anxious and stressed out. So now I trying to figure out if the last question was "easy" or not. I reviewed a lot of nclex books but the test questions were definitely different. I can relate to what BigB and popcorn are going through. The only good news is that in tx u get the results in 48 hrs. I'm trying to find courage and strength..as I wait for the result. one more day to go..
