Thanks girlie, I figure I'll do this as a countdown. I start to do the tickerfactory.com thing, and then I think it's superstitious....Ack, I think I HAVE lost it!!

I had a really great experience tonight. I was going to take my final in one of my psych classes, and one of the ladies in there gave me a Christmas Card. I've only talked to her a few times, but I opened it up,and it had a beautiful Johns Hopkins Hospital ornament in it. She said she had gotten it a few years ago in Baltimore and thought it was a sign when we talked. It was REALLY sweet.

Thanks for putting up with my schennanigans, y'all..Gotta release it some way, right..wait til you see what I do tomorrow! :spam:

Yeah i was having a problem writing my statement of goals as well. My school gave me specific questions to answer. Did yours? From what I gather the statement of purpose is supposed to help the admissions committee get to know your personality. You might talk about why you want to be a nurse, your expectations of the program, and your future career goals. Try to make your experiences come to life on paper. mention specific examples of experiences that have influenced you, mentions any sites, sounds , or smells you remember. Haha! I just got finished reading a couple of books on college admissions essays.

I can't stand waiting - My letters aren't sent out until May!! It's killing me and I still have six months!! I'm just hoping for good news. Good luck everybody!! :rolleyes:

Warning! Warning! Freak out ahead!!

No countdown today. I'm literally sobbing over here instead of studying for my last two finals. So I had gotten on our university portal to see if any of my other grades were up yet (I know I've gotten A's from talking to the profs, but I always like to double check). So when I try pulling up my "grade report," it says that it will not be up until Thursday the 15th! (day JHU letters come out) and when I try pulling up unofficial transcript, says it won't be up until Monday the 19th!!

I had emailed one of the ad-coms from JHU last week because I was nervous already that they had pushed finals back a week because of the Hurricanes. I thought the latest the grades would be available was this upcoming Monday (the 12th) and she said that would be fine, and just to fax the unofficial transcript, and the school could send the official one later.

So what am I going to do?!? I'm just freaking out because I know I have the grades, but I can't send them until after decisions have been made? I really need this transcript to show them that I can do it (all A's in 20 hours) because I have messed up in the past..

I'm not sure how your portal works, but my ecampus basically states a 'date' as well. However, if the instructor posts his final grades for a class, those grades are posted then.

I have to click on "show all grades" instead of trying to see the grades for that particular semester.

Now, this may not be true for your school's system, but there's not anything you can do this minute.

Study for your finals!!!!!!!!

Then, tomorrow, talk to your instructors and explain to them that the hurricane has delayed things, but other school's haven't changed their deadlines. Ask if there is anyway to have your grades posted sooner.

nah, ul-l's just weird. for the first couple days, i had no problem getting my grades that were up, the others were just blank. then, i guess so many people logging on caused a clusteryounknowwhat, because now it blocks you from getting into either grades or transcripts, and they've shut everyone off until those dates.

hooooweever, i called the registrar this morning, and he's going to let me come this upcoming monday to get mine!! :santa2: :present2:

i'm actually kinda freaked out that it went that easy. i had the whole thing reheorificed, and didn't even get to use anything. i just did my intro, and he said, "when can you come get it?" hehehe, i was for once speechless! :lol2:
