I had a friend text a few minutes ago just to check in, for me to tell her a little bit about myself. I was happy to report that I was great, that is is Wednesday and that I have a pink shirt on (in true Fetch fashion). I just knew you all would be so proud that I could share this with my non school nurse friends.

I just realized that was a crying smiley guy, Far. If it makes you feel better. I talk to you all waaay more than I do my other friends during the work day. That's why I love you all so much...having you at my fingertips is so great :0 Also, It isn't an understanding that my other 2 friends and I wear a certain color on a certain day of the week :) CAN I MOVE BACK TO THE PINK TABLE NOW?? pleeeeez?

Funny you should ask. Apparently my 3 year old grandson is surprised that I have friends too. Here is recent conversation, after I had been talking on the phone with one of my friends.

When I get off the phone>>>>

3 y.o.- Granny, who were you talking to?

Me- one of my friends.

3 y.o.- Really Granny????? I didn't know you had friends????? (in complete and total innocent amazement) :0

Me- Yess. Granny does have friends :)

That stopped him in his tracks. I guess old ppl don't have friends in little's eyes.

I didn't feel so bad, few days later. A couple of my husbands (and mine) friends came to help us move his mom. When I told the 3 y.o. that they were Grampy's friends that came to help us. He gave the same stopped in his tracks innocent response...Really Granny???? I didn't know Grampy has friends!! Yes, I told 3 y.o. Yes, Grampy has 2 friends!!

Maybe that means we are both old and dorky together in a 3 y.o.'s eyes...or heck, probly most pple's eyes.
