Thanks for the support and opposition

It always puzzles me when I see posters who come unglued after receiving opposing opinions to their threads. To me the beauty of an open forum is to hear the good, bad and ugly especially if you are trying to make an important decision. I'd urge anyone who only posts for cyber hugs and support to list that in their title so those posters who might want to encourage a different line of thinking don't waste their time.

What I personally have found is sometimes the opposite opinions actually have an interesting perspective. When a particular poster really irritates me I try to explore what exactly is causing such a strong reaction on my part. Some times I conclude the poster is just a twit but the truth is more often than not there is something I need to adjust on my end and I have learned important things from other members who have annoyed me. Try keeping an open mind. :)

yeah, and then you're accused of "eating the young nurses".

They must be pretty tasty if so many crusty old bats eat so many of them.

I'm envisioning an editorial cartoon with a drawing of a bat, patting her tummy, wearing her cap, and belching while the poor young nurse's stethoscope and bling lie on the floor at her feet.

WK - you need to collaborate with Davy Do on this one! I'd love to see it!

Get off my thread. :wacky:

Yeah that one is a classic.

Then you have the posters who call other posters "mean" because they said something not acceptable to them and says we are all part of a "gang". One person comes to mind for this one.

Can you make that into a shirt? I'm not a COB but I would buy it.

Thank you all for your Support.

The Cartoon is a First Draft and I've thought of some Ideas for expanding it a bit, making it able to stand alone without explanation and more toward what I believe WHShadowRN envisioned.

I did a rough Sketch before Work tonight and plan to create the Finished Product on my next night off.

Thanks again!

I was thinking the COB would look good if it had the stethoscope partially sticking out of the corner of

its mouth....

Well, No Stars, that's what you get for thinking.

ACT-SHOO-ALL-LEE, I had only one Admission tonight and the other Patients were Low Maintenance, so I was able to draw out the Cartoon using the Paint Program and the Mouse.

Thank you for the Interest, cracklingkraken, but I think that may go against the TOS- you know- selling services and such on this Site.

But, who knows? AN.com might just get behind such an Endeavor and support it sometime in the Future.

Otherwise, I didn't Copyright the Image, so you are Free to Copy it and do whatever you wish with it!
