Just curious - you mention that you are using the Saunders Strategies For Success - and I wonder if you had used this prior to taking your NCLEX tests before. I will be retesting for the 2nd time soon and just got this book, which I love, after failing the first time. I think it has really opened my eyes about test taking.

no I did not do any strategy study before the nclex the first time. I feel that my eyes are wider open now too!!!!

I just recently recommended this book to someone else on this site who was asking for book recommendations, but didn't see anyone else respond and was really interested in what other's thought or if anyone else had used it. I think this book is a great tool for tackling the NCLEX questions.

Amen! I keep praying for those about to take the NCLEX for the 1st time or the 10th time, and all those who ware waiting for their results. I definitely recommend taking the day and a half before the test to do nothing except relax/do something fun, and rest your brain because you will use it a lot during the exam! It was hard for me not to keep studying up to the last minute, but I'm glad I did because I tend to get test anxiety, so following Suzanne's advice I stopped studying a day and a half before. I read another post here where someone said she was not consuming any caffeine for 2 days before the test--I followed that advice too :)
