:nurse:I got my results guys and I passed. It was a weired exam. The ques came from everywhere and every topic. I felt like I was playing baseball whatever they threw at me I had to hit out of the ball park. My initial impression of the exam was that this is not that bad. I mean question one was easy, by question 35 I was literally pulling my hear out of my head. at 50 question it seemed extremely hard. I was two hours into the exam and I could not believe I was only at ques 50. I wanted/needed a break and the computer did not offer me a break maybe because I started question 50 before it hit 2 hours but I could not concentrate to answer the question my sugar felt like it was low. I had already decided it was between 2 answers so I just picked one. then the computer offered me a break I took 5 mins went to the ladies room then went to my locker and stuffed a muffin done my throat drank some water and said to myself I came with God who is way bigger than this exam and I will be pass. Amen. I finished at 75 question in 2 and a half hours. I remember thinking to myself if this keeps going to 265 am in deep Sh*&. Ques 75 was a drug ques that I had no clue and I was burnt out so I just guessed then it shut off. Thank God I diffenetly felt that exam getting harder and harder then extremely hard. I got infection control, prioitization and delegation, 8 select all that applies no math and a hand full of med like aroun 5. But the ques included a wide variety of topics. I knew most of the meds but had no clue about the side effects, so learning them in groups helped me recognize them but did not help with teaching or side effects. I left feeling bad like since ques 35 I was guessing. But I passed. My heart goes out to those who have to retake this exam because it is a big starin and I had already decided that if I had failed that was it for me. I just could not go through this again.

Know your Core nursing topics before going in there

I used Kaplan complete :typing(most important not to get caught up with the grades (I did) just review the ques all of them and take notes) I got a 70 on Qtrainer 7 and then I realized I was ready.

Studied for 4 weeks then decided that I will not know everthing I just have to accept it and go do the exam.

You will never feel a hundred percent ready.Because the exam did not compare to any of the questions I practiced.

Best advise I can give you is stay calm in the exam. Best wishes to all those about to take it.
