You deserve a pat on the back for:
1. All of those lunches you don't take
2. That urine you hold in your poor bladder all day
3. Being a child advocate
4. Being the problem solver on your campus
5. Not taking a day off so that your students are well cared for
6. Getting dumped on day in and day out
7. Having your medical judgement being questioned daily but standing up in the best interest for your student
8. Being you
I am proud to call all of you my colleagues:yeah:

I agree, SchoolNurseBSN! In the past week or so I have had a former teacher/administrator who I met outside of work, and, separately, a non-nurse non-educator both tell me how special a person I must be to do the work that I do. I don't feel particularly special, but it does take a certain kind of person to do and love this work. It is sure nice to hear, though, that we are appreciated!
I am proud to be among such a great group of nurses!

I was wondering, if applying for a School Nurse position, would you bring along a portfolio?
