I can't help myself - I just have to share...The mailman brought me the BEST gift today! I got into a nursing program!
I have applied to 6 programs and have already been rejected at two. Today I found out I got into a AND program! The school is my second choice, and I am still waiting to hear from my 1st choice school, but at least I know I am definitely starting nursing school in the Fall.
I really think applying to multiple schools is the reason I got into a program on my first try. Applying to 6 schools was a major pain in the butt, but I highly recommend it! :)
Good luck to everyone else who is still waiting to hear!
Congrats!
Enjoy your day-your hard work thus far has paid off.

Congrats from me to dream2nurse. Great advice too...applying to multiple schools is a great way to max your chances of getting into a nursing school. Yeah its a pain in the butt to fill out applications and asking for recommendation letters but its worth it at the end. I had to got back to my old college on two seperate occasions just to get recommendation letters from my former anatomy professor, my advisor, and my employer. It wasn't fun but it paid off for me at the end.
