Which do you prefer? And where's the best place to order them? I know they are cheaper online than my college's bookstore, but I want a trusted site. Thanks!!
I personally prefer the feel of a textbook. Ebooks have their advantages because you can store them all on a device and that is much easier to carry...you can also search through them easier with technology, but I like the actual feel of highlighting and taking notes in my books.
If you decide on using ebooks, make sure you use them on an iPad or other tablet. Kindles are not good for e-textbooks, imo.
I prefer textbooks. I took a few online classes that had ebooks and I absolutely hated it. It was much more difficult for me to reference when I had to answer discussion questions, as well as papers. I like holding an actual book, highlighting, and marking pages as needed. While ebooks are definitely more convenient and easier on the back, it's just my personal preference. As far as where to order them, I have no advice for that as I've ordered all of my books thus far through my school bookstore.
I used ebooks only for some of my non-science courses. For my science courses, that I know I might need later to refer to in nursing school, I like the paper for e.g microbioligy and A&P I liked having the hard copy. Some new textbooks also come with either a CD or online access to an ebook, so you get best of both. Some Books I got that I didnt want to keep after the semester I sold them on amazon so I got some money back from them, you cant do that with an ebook.

I never liked e-books. I love to be able to flip to a page I need fast. There is something about having the book in your hands... also to be able to write in it and highlight the crap out of it. Also bookmark it with sticky notes :) My books are always a mess but they make sense to me! Amazon.com always has what I need.
