Anyone applying to Texas Women University? I recently attended an information session and spoke to Ms.Victoria the nursing coordinator for TWU. What are your stats? What advice to you give when studying for the TEAS? I know you have to apply for TWU first then get accepted. Then you apply to TWU NURSING. But I am somewhat confused on that process. I went to the apply portal and it does not give me the option to apply for FAll of 2016. I may have to wait. Any current TWU students that can give me any advice on the application process. It will be of great help. Thank you!

Also, there is orientation in May and some might not show up. Some might not get remaining prerequisites completed. Or not turn in particular items and forms. So that might be good for those waitlisted. Don't give up! I'm rooting for you all.

Anyone going to email/call them tomorrow and ask about waitlist positions since it's the first working day after April 1st...? I'm thinking about it but want to know what you guys think and are going to do.

I want to, but my advisor stopped taking and returning my calls, soooo.... :-(

Good news guys.. Heather close just emailed me and said I was mixed up with another student that had the same last name as me. She told me i was 7 down the waitlist but it was gonna be awhile till they begin pulling ppl from the waitlist. Only one person has declined their acceptance and twu originally accepts more ppl then they have capacity for anyway.

So they haven't given out that one declined position yet? Hm. 7 is still a good number! I can't wait to find out mine! I'm rooting for you. My points that I calculated myself was like a 50.47

Just got my rejection letter... Said they're basically not letting anyone else in.

I just got the rejection letter too....she also just emailed me back personally and said I'm #2 on the waitlist.

Just my luck lol I was just told i was on the waitlist and now recieved the rejection letter again. Regardless, we know there is a waitlist. Only time will tell what happens from here.

This whole "over capacity" thing is confusing. So they accept more people hoping that a lot of them will reject their offers? And since only 2 did they're over capacity? I kind of get that, but now if more people reject or decline and they're still over capacity are they going to let anyone from the waitlist in? Because I don't think they filled those 2 spots that declined/failed to respond
