Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Published

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference.

My castlebranch has nothing on my to-do list even though I got accepted😖

did you purchase the compliance tracker?

I am accepting the offer why is it asking me why I am declining the offer at the end ? Do I just skip ?

Is anyone else having this problem for the castlebranch checklist? Ik its still early but I'm trying to submit what I have so far but when I go to upload the doc from my computer/drive it won't let me? Like the button literally does not do anything while the other two (my documents and download the fax/mail) options do something. Might try a different computer or even ipad but I just want to know if its just me??

I started submitting my stuff but then it wouldn't let me do anything after I uploaded like 10 documents. So I said forget it and went to bed😭

Go back and make sure you're putting the right thing. Start from the beginning and use your acceptance letter it tells you what to put

Castlebranch is a huge a pain. It will take many attempts LOL.  Also they will go over all of that during your orientation too, including all the vaccines. Sometimes your castlebranch won't have all of it loaded yet,  none of it is due until like August, they give a long time. But good to def get ahead on what you have but it's a PAINNNN! Also to remind everyone, you just have to be in process with your vaccines to be compliant. Some are 6 months apart so you can only get one now and not until after the deadline and that's OK! 🙂 lot numbers, I know someone asked that at orientation last year so Taylor Dukes (the compliance person) will go over all that with you.

The main vaccines we have until may 3rd to turn in that's orientation day. If you don't get those turned in by then your spot will be given to someone else. We also have to have the immunization tracker purchased by April 11th

Yeah ! It was basically the same for us.  The final deadlines for fall clinical is July or August though so they'll go over it during orientation but very important to def get on it.   I just wanted to reiterate that if you're in the process of a vaccine series that it's OK that it's not finished. You just have to be in process to be compliant. And also to validate that castle branch is indeed a pain 😂 good luck yall!

I've heard that nursing school is extremely challenging. Do you have any advice for us who are starting their first semester?

Mine also said that, I think it is just for people who chose to decline the offer. I made sure that I accepted the offer (twice) and it still showed that at the end for me. So I just ignored it.

Does anyone know if I still haven't heard back means im not accepted?
