  1. Regardless of whether you received your 3 doses, they need a positive titer. I didn't submit my hep b vaccines because I took them years ago. But, I had a positive titer done recently and they accepted that. I think they only care about you being immune. If you're not, you need to start your 1st dose.
  2. Yes. They required the positive titer or at least the first hep b dose by May 3rd. They have a zoom session tomorrow. Maybe you can ask for extension? I had my PCP sent the hep b titer order to a Quest diagnostic to get my lab drawn that same day & got my results within next business day. Maybe your pcp can do that too. If it's negative, maybe you can go to a walk in clinic to get the 1st dose by next Friday.
  3. I've heard that nursing school is extremely challenging. Do you have any advice for us who are starting their first semester?
  4. Thanks for sharing! Do your lecture days take the whole day or just a few hours? Since they suspended the WEP, I'm trying to figure out if I could probably show up half the day to my day job on my lecture days during the week.
  5. My acceptance letter states "The College of Nursing has decided to temporarily suspend the weekend and evening program, offering the top 10 candidates an opportunity to join the Traditional program instead."
  6. They're suspending the weekend/evening program this semester!
  7. I am worried about my chances because my overall GPA is low (3.2). I am unsure if they prioritize overall GPA over other factors as this year's admission process is still unclear. I have seen in the past that some applicants with a lower GPA in nursing prerequisites (3.6) and a lower TEAS score (83) but a higher overall GPA (3.8) get accepted. Hopefully, they take into consideration that the classes I failed over a decade ago do not reflect my current academic abilities, and acknowledge my hard work to raise my GPA in recent years.
  8. This is my first time but my overall GPA is very low so I don't have high expectations. If I don't get it, I might try WCU or Chamberlain University. WCU offers weekend/evening and Chamberlain offers 100% online classes excluding clinicals so that is something that would work for me.
  9. Smart move! One less class to worry about.
  10. Fingers crossed we all get in ?I'm sure we've all worked hard to be where we are now. Let's hope it's enough ?
  11. It will be your TWU Email. That should also be the one you entered on your application as well.
  12. In last year's fall group, I saw that some applicants received acceptance emails in the last week of March. Hopefully, we get as lucky, and our wait is over! I can't take another month just sitting and waiting. LOL
