Regardless of whether you received your 3 doses, they need a positive titer. I didn't submit my hep b vaccines because I took them years ago. But, I had a positive titer done recently and they accepted that. I think they only care about you being immune. If you're not, you need to start your 1st dose.

Yes. They required the positive titer or at least the first hep b dose by May 3rd. They have a zoom session tomorrow. Maybe you can ask for extension? I had my PCP sent the hep b titer order to a Quest diagnostic to get my lab drawn that same day & got my results within next business day. Maybe your pcp can do that too. If it's negative, maybe you can go to a walk in clinic to get the 1st dose by next Friday.

Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024
I am worried about my chances because my overall GPA is low (3.2). I am unsure if they prioritize overall GPA over other factors as this year's admission process is still unclear. I have seen in the past that some applicants with a lower GPA in nursing prerequisites (3.6) and a lower TEAS score (83) but a higher overall GPA (3.8) get accepted. Hopefully, they take into consideration that the classes I failed over a decade ago do not reflect my current academic abilities, and acknowledge my hard work to raise my GPA in recent years.

Good to know! TWU does seem to have higher requirements than other schools I've seen, too. UTA has an accelerated online program, and from what I remember, I think their minimum GPA is 2.5 and 45 on the TEAS. My problem with them is that clinicals are assigned at random during the week (can't guarantee weekends all the time).

Most ADN programs around me are mornings only & I have a job, which is why I'm only applying to evening/weekends BSN programs. TWU is the least expensive. But if I don't get in I might try WCU or Chamberlain but their tuition is crazy expensive. One good thing about then is that there's not waitlist or limit.
